In a world consumed by eternal mist, Lynn awakens in the wasteland with his eight-year-old sister, Arya. To keep her alive, he poses as the mysterious Mist Merchant and trades ordinary modern objects for food and supplies. Whenever a trade benefits Arya, those worthless items become terrifying divine artifacts. The desperate scam soon turns Lynn into a legendary god across the wasteland, but his journey toward the City of a Thousand Faces reveals that the gods may be the real impostors.
